The Clear Crystals exhibit the greatest luster, radiance and vitality. They are most often apophylite but some variations of chalcedony, quartz and scolecite exhibit a similar fiery brilliance. These specimens are referred to as "diamond clusters" for the brilliance and clarity they exhibit. Matrices and accompanying silicates can be of a variety of tones, but lucid crystals are the unifying characteristic in this group.
