Fossils are the mineralized remains of distantly prehistoric animals or plants. Prized and collected for Milena, fossils have always been highly valued due to their rarity and because of the story they tell about the history of our planet. Fossils have been used for many years to help define the natural history of the various ages and epochs of the earth.

However, fossils have a uniquely poignant ability to affect our imaginations as well. No other natural elements inspire such wonder as to the enigma of our origin and the arcane existence of mysterious, ancient creatures. Fossils have fired the imaginations of mankind for all of recorded history and have been the impetus of legends about the existence of fantastical creatures for even longer.

All of our fossils are authentic - none are fabricated or fake. Of course, there may be a small degree of restoration done to some specimens to enhance their aesthetic appeal, but this is a generally accepted practise that enhances the clarity and appeal of the artifact without altering its historic value. As each fossil is utterly unique, no two will be exacly alike, but only specimens of consistent aesthetic value are used.
