Shells

***Contact us for current lead times.***

The vast majority of our shells are the exoskeleton of marine mollusks. Most have a long history of appreciation and fascination by admirers of their color, sheen, and radial or bilateral symmetry. They range in origin from the Haitian islands to New Zealand to the Philippines with a few African species thrown in as well. As with the insects, it is not only their color and texture that delight, but the seemingly endless morphological variety they exhibit.

Our standard archival, museum quality materials are used in framing but a hermetic seal is not essential in this case. And unlike some of our pieces, the shells are safe to be displayed on nearly any wall.

In German silver anodized, or powder coated white aluminum shadowboxes.
